To my younger self, dear one, it's been a while and apologies for the time lapse. I've come to share a secret with you, which is that worry appears either side of the now. I know it sounds cryptic, but stay with me. The time sequence ensures that there is only now, only today. Now, of course, it's your choice to preserve energy to live today or spend it looking into old, dusty boxes of yesterday. They are but memories now, are they not? Please allow my wiser years to advise that you allow them to settle and let them be packed and stored in the recesses of your mind. Make peace with them, hold them one more time and say goodbye, or they will continue. Oh, the gems of wisdom from Helen Lambert.
